I am a qualified person-centred counsellor and Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (member number 377301). Before re-training as a counsellor I worked in various paid and voluntary roles including:
My approach is pluralistic, meaning as a counsellor and client, we will work collaboratively and our sessions are tailored to your specific needs or issues.
I will give you a space free of judgement or expectations, where you can work through and process any difficulties you are facing. My primary focus is to gain an understanding about how you are experiencing life. This may include any problems or challenges you face, or anything else which may come up during our sessions. Our relationship and our therapy will be collaborative.
I offer counselling sessions indoors and outdoors as well as telephone and online counselling and I am based in the Southside of Glasgow.
50 minute session - either indoors or outdoors.
50 minute session - via telephone, Skype or online.
If you are unsure about counselling, or if we can work together, I am happy to offer a short (10-15 minutes) telephone consultation free of charge so I can help you answer any questions you might have, or if you would prefer to meet me face-to-face, I offer a 30 minute consultation for £20.
*I am happy to operate a sliding scale based on circumstances and affordability, contact me directly to discuss this.
