I am a qualified person-centred counsellor and Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (member number 377301) and have experience of working in schools and NHS venues with children and adults. Before re-training as a counsellor I worked in various paid and voluntary roles including:
My approach is pluralistic, meaning as a counsellor and client, we will work collaboratively and our sessions are tailored to your specific needs or issues.
I will give you a space free of judgement, where you can work through and process any difficulties you are facing. My primary focus is to gain an understanding about how you are currently experiencing life. This may include any problems or challenges you face, or anything else which may come up during our sessions. Our relationship and our therapy will be collaborative.
As well as my counselling work, I offer 'Nature Connection Sessions', I design and run workshops and I have a podcast. I have also appeared in print and on radio discussing the benefits of working outdoors and work with third sector organisations as a Project Lead and in a consultancy role.
I offer my counselling sessions in person, online or outdoors and I am based in the Southside of Glasgow.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Sean
